This October the EIT will launch a Call for Proposals to set up a new EIT Knowledge and Innovation Community (EIT KIC) in the field of Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries (CCSIs). This new EIT KIC will deliver innovative solutions to help the sectors and industries become stronger and more resilient.  

Concretely, it will contribute to: 

• Breaking down barriers to innovation across sectors and disciplines. It will power new ventures, accelerate new technologies, and facilitate digital transformation. 
• Connecting innovation value chains at the local, regional, national, and EU levels. It will help regions innovate and increase their competitiveness. 
• Empowering the next generation of cultural-creative innovators by equipping them with much-needed entrepreneurial skills.

The Call will open for applying consortia forming a suitable partnership to tackle the challenges of the Cultural and Creative Sectors and Industries. More information on the evaluation criteria of the Call is available here. 

The Call for Proposals will remain open until March 2022, with the designation of the winning consortium and launch of the new KIC EIT Culture & Creativity in September of the same year.

One of these is the Networking Platform launched by the EIT until March 2022 to facilitate the process and allow potential partners to connect for the upcoming Call for Proposals.
